Rates & Insurance

Therapy Fees

My standard fee is $250 per 50-minute session. This rate applies to all therapy services, including adult individual therapy, adolescent athlete performance sessions, trauma-focused treatment, and cognitive rehabilitation.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Many clients choose to submit claims to their insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request that includes the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance carrier.

Using Out-of-Network Benefits

If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, you may wish to contact your insurance company before starting therapy. Here are some helpful questions to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits for individual therapy?

  • What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed for an out-of-network provider?

  • Is there a deductible, and how much of it has been met?

  • How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

  • Are telehealth services covered in my state?

Clients typically pay at the time of session and, if eligible, receive partial reimbursement directly from their insurance company after submitting claims.

Executive Coaching & Leadership Assessment

I also offer executive coaching and leadership assessments for professionals and organizations.

Coaching sessions are available for individual leaders seeking to strengthen clarity, composure, and communication under pressure.
Leadership assessments are customized evaluations that provide in-depth insight into leadership style, decision-making, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Quotes for executive coaching, organizational or team-based consulting, leadership assessments, and workshop services are available upon request.

Additional Professional Services

All additional professional time spent outside of sessions — including case coordination, documentation, report writing, letters, or extended appointments — is billed at the same rate of $250 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service and can be made via credit card through the online secure platform. A receipt will be provided for your records or insurance reimbursement submission.

Concierge-Level Care (Why I Keep a Smaller Caseload)

I intentionally maintain a smaller, focused caseload so each client receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. Research consistently shows that larger client loads and extended clinical hours contribute to therapist burnout—and burnout has been linked to reduced treatment effectiveness and poorer client outcomes (Rupert & Kent, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, 2007; Kim et al., Counselling Psychology Quarterly, 2018).

In contrast, smaller caseloads allow therapists to remain more present, responsive, and effective. Findings from healthcare echo the same pattern: physicians who manage fewer patients deliver higher-quality, more personalized care, reinforcing the importance of time, focus, and continuity.

This is why I structure my practice as a concierge-style, private-pay model. It allows me to dedicate time outside sessions for reflection, coordination, and planning, ensuring that your therapy isn’t rushed or constrained by insurance requirements. My standard rate is $250 per hour, which reflects the training, board certification, and individualized level of care that clients receive. This rate also includes administrative and office costs and remains comparable to, or often lower than, many private-pay psychologists in Los Angeles offering specialized, evidence-based treatment.

By limiting volume, I can maximize quality, creating a therapeutic environment where progress happens with focus, depth, and measurable results.
